Will it be another case of 'After the Lord Mayor's show' for Simon Grayson's high flyer's. After an inspiring performance to earn a 1-1 draw away to Arsene's 'eye candy' Arsenal, will this result spark another diabolical run like Leeds fell foul of last season after beating Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford? Last season United were run away leaders in League 1 before that memorable day on January 3rd. However the aftermath of this game nearly cost the club promotion as Grayson's side took a measly 30 points from their remaining 23 games in the league. In the first half of the season the the Whites gathered an impressive 56 points, which left them 8 points clear at the top and 11 clear of eventual winners Norwich.
Surely relegation worthy form can't find its way into mitts of a Leeds side that find themselves well poised in a Play-off position again... can it? Who knows what caused the rut, but I firmly believe that both the manager and the players will learn their lessons as the Whites prepare for a promotion push in the final half of the Championship campaign.
